You can buy the Note 9 via Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and the Samsung Mobile Store online, and is also available from offline stores.

As you know, one of the greatest features of the Galaxy Note 9 has become the S Pen stylus, which has built a miniature battery and a Bluetooth module. In India, the device received a price cut of Rs 12,000.

Hume told MyBroadband that the 512GB model of the Galaxy Note 9 will be available in South Africa next month and will be priced at R23,999. Earlier this month the smartphone was unveiled by the company and since then it is up for pre-orders in the country.

Samsung, which counts India as one of its key markets, is also betting big on 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) to drive the next phase of growth for the company that is locked in an intense battle for market leadership in the Indian smartphone market with China's Xiaomi. The Apple Watch Series 3 is of course available in an LTE version and prices start around $399 mark and can go up to $420 for the larger 42mm Apple Watch. The Note 9 gets 128 gigabytes of storage, double what's in the S9 and Apple's iPhones.

Coming to the camera department, the Galaxy Note 9 features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 12-megapixel primary camera with f/1.5 - f/2.5 variable aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, dual pixel phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED Flash and a secondary 12-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom.

Customers may also be choosing the 512 GB model of the Galaxy Note 9 due to its higher RAM of 8 GB, compared to only 6 GB for the 128 GB model. The stand out feature is very much considered the increased battery capacity to 4000mAh, which should address some of the concerns the Note 8 raised with its smaller battery that wasn't sufficient to power that huge screen for a full day of use.

In comparison with current top premium phones, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is still expensive at Rs 55,900. The front-facing camera is 8MP with an aperture of f/1.7.

For those that want the 6GB RAM variant are going to be enjoying a lot of multitasking options as well as media consumption, but they will need to pay quite a price to experience that. In terms of memory, the phablet is available in two variants - 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB internal storage.
