Samsung's first 'Android Go' budget smartphone in India

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star will be on sale exclusively on from August 27, and will sell at Rs 34,990, Samsung has announced.

The official press-room Samsung published the whole story of the flagship, outlining the accomplishments of each new smartphone, which the company managed to prove that "Sometimes bigger is better". Amazon has put up a Notify Me option for buyers to receive sale commencement alerts, and there seem to be some Easy EMI offers, although Amazon has not given any details of the offers yet.

Samsung's Galaxy Note9 has landed on store shelves. The company calls it as Infinity display with a modern 18.5:9 aspect ratio display with narrow bezels on both sides of the smartphone.

The first change is that the device has a 6.4-inch display.

The device houses 3,700mAh coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable upto 400GB via a MicroSD card. Given the device's power-sipping infrastructure, the battery isn't large either, but it should get things done, especially considering the target market for such a device. Moreover, the handset is integrated with dual rear cameras with support for Samsung Pay. There will most likely be a dual camera setup at the back, with primary and secondary sensor specification unknown.

The dual-SIM phone has all the basic connectivity options you would expect on a phone of this price- 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and Global Positioning System. Combined with the Samsung DeX which now works via a simple USB-C to HDMI dongle, you can literally ditch your laptop and take the phone along with you for your presentation - and do it professionally.

The dual "Intellicam" set-up includes 16MP+24MP sensors. The selfie camera offers a 24MP sensor paired with a f/2.0 aperture with support for AR stickers, smart beauty, and pro lighting.
