Aretha Franklin's body has arrived at a Detroit church where her funeral is being held Friday.

Furthermore, Pistons great Isiah Thomas is set to speak during the service. Songs will be offered by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.

Over the past few days, fans have been gathering together in the Queen of Soul's hometown to pay their final respects to the legendary singer, who died on August 16 at the age of 76 from pancreatic cancer. That's a nod to her funky '80s tune of the same name that prominently featured the vehicle in the lyrics and video. Friday's funeral service is taking place at Greater Grace Temple, which seats 4,000 people and where a red carpet has been laid out.

The street outside Greater Grace was filled Friday morning with pink Cadillacs - a nod to Franklin's funky '80s tune, "Freeway of Love", which prominently featured the vehicle in the lyrics and video.

"I think she's wonderful and I know that the spirit of God that's in her is what brought all of us here".

'There are some girls who haven't been born yet. who will be inspired by Aretha, ' he said.

Even in her afterlife, the Queen of Soul is managing to make wardrobe changes.

Franklin was dressed in much more vibrant hues for day one and two of the public viewings at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
