Google has officially unveiled Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

Of course, in the future, we expect Google to add a more user-friendly way to hide the notch on the Pixel 3 XL.

Google's new Pixel phones mirror an industry trend toward lusher, bigger screens and add twists on the camera for better pictures.

Google has just announced the Pixel 3, its new Android-powered smartphone, in a bid to compete with Apple's recent iPhone Xs.

APKs for the local applications on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones are now springing up on the Internet.

The third device from Google is not a massive change from the previous but does concentrate on the camera as it did before. There's a new slider at the bottom of the screen that lets you adjust the camera's field of view from 75 degrees to 97 degrees so you can fit more people without reaching for a selfie stick.

Unfortunately, Google hasn't announced exactly when this device is hitting the shelves.

Apple has said the iPhone XR camera system works with the "neural engine", part of an advanced processor that the firm developed to power the iPhone X, and its ability to perform five trillion operations per second.

Both phones have been made available for pre-order already.

As per Android Central, new Pixel phones were rumoured to focus on gesture navigation, bar the centre "pill" and a back button, which only appears when necessary. Google claims the new product will charge the Pixel 3 quickly and efficiently, even when using a case. Check out the video below, then expect to see this on your Pixel 2 in November.

With a launch price of $799, the Pixel 3 is packed with premium features. To add fuel to the fire, Pixel 3 XL was already being sold in Russian Federation one week before the product was even announced.

The Pixel 3 handsets introduce new photography features including a much higher-quality digital zoom than before. The plethora of AI-based features makes it great as a camera both for social occasions and serious photography. Or some of Google's fancy new AI and machine learning features. You can choose to pick up or ignore the call. "The benchmark that OnePlus has set in $500-$700 segment, and number of features that it offers, is enormous", said Upasana Joshi, associate research manager, Client Devices, IDC India.

With the Pixel Slate, Google is challenging the iPad Pro from Apple and the Surface Pro lineup from Microsoft. You're looking at a 12.2 megapixel rear-facing and a eight megapixel front-facing camera. We know Night Sight is coming to older Pixel phones, but there is no word on the other new Pixel 3 features.

For photography enthusiasts, the Pixel 3 is undeniably the way to go.

Beyond the camera, Google is using artificial intelligence to help screen calls.

Vodafone you can get the Pixel 3 for £58 per month with £49 upfront and the Pixel 3 XL for £62 per month with a £49 upfront cost.
