Alli hoping to 'keep improving' after siging new Spurs contract

Tottenham Hotspur's South Korean attacker Son Heung-min has ended his scoring drought this season after netting two goals against West Ham United.

"The effort was fantastic, the performance was very good, I am so happy".

The 22-year-old claims that he and his teammates have committed their futures to the club because they believe in the "journey" they are on together.

It took West Ham just 10 minutes to make the breakthrough, though they had a helping hand as Arnautovic pounced on James Tarkowski's feeble backpass and slotted beyond Joe Hart. As a young professional, I had to think about what is best for my career and where I can improve.

The Chilean coach had told Anderson there was no chance he would be dropped, despite a slow start to life in the Premier League.

West Ham rallied quickly and Tottenham had Paulo Gazzaniga to thank when he pulled off a smart stop low to his right to deny Javier Hernandez an equaliser on the stroke of half-time.

Watching Anderson in full flow was a real joy: two goals, a shot cleared off the line, another off the post, deft touches and turns galore.

"He is a massive part of wanting to be at this club", Alli said after setting up two goals in Wednesday's 3-1 Carabao Cup victory at West Ham.

The former Reds star stressed that had Dele Alli moved to Liverpool he wouldn't have played as many games as possible which helped him develop.

West Ham's Marko Arnautovic is now the highest goalscorer in all competitions at the London Stadium (9 goals).

"When I think about signing, obviously Poch plays a big part in that". His idol is Ronaldinho and there is little fear in a player who never stopped running at defenders.

It's now 13 goals conceded in the last three games and although Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Chris Wood twice hauled the Clarets back into the game, they couldn't hold on for a point at the London Stadium.

Dyche's side finished seventh last season to qualify for Europe but haven't come close to those standards this term.

"I try and be balanced, and last season, even when we were flying, I said the margins are really tight, W he said".

Hernandez wrapped things up on the break in stoppage time to end a run of four matches without a win.

But for West Ham the upward momentum is on.
