Dez Bryant may have suffered torn Achilles at practice

On the Saints' end, the team was in some serious need of wide receiver depth when they added Bryant and now they're back at square one.

But for the Saints, a maddening game of "what might have been" is the order of the day.

Despite the fact that he suffered a potential season-ending injury on Friday, Dez Bryant still found some time to send out a tweet.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not announced any details of Bryant's medical exam. "I won't question the man upstairs. this is the ultimate test. Thank you everyone for the prayers".

The 30-year-old signed with the Saints on Wednesday following a workout in New Orleans a day earlier. "I accepted that and moved on", Bryant said on Thursday. The Cowboys released Bryant in April and has not played in a National Football League game since January 1.

Bryant, in his eight years in Dallas, caught 531 balls for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns.

The Philadelphia Eagles will face the New Orleans Saints in week 11, but that high powered matchup will likely take place without Dez Bryant.
