Amazon is starting Black Friday a week early

The concept was first brought over to the United Kingdom in 2010, when online retailer Amazon, promoted a range of discounts and deals to consumers - and Britain was hooked.

Most of those sales won't go live until Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) or Black Friday (Nov. 23), but in the case of Amazon's own devices, Alexa voice shoppers can score savings early, starting on Nov. 18.

The 35-page Stage Black Friday 2018 ad surfaced online on Black Friday sites.

The best Black Friday deals on Amazon Echo devices are already on offer and the good news is that most of the gadgets are still in stock.

The offer ends on Friday 27 November unless stated.

The deals will be available at various times throughout the week. With Amazon Music, your readers can request by lyrics, let Alexa pick the music for them, or set a music alarm to wake up to their favorite song or playlist - all ad-free and on-demand. The 4-Star stores will also have select products on sale, many of which were featured in Amazon's gift guides, including its lists for toys, home, and electronics.

Some deals, like those on Amazon Echo and Fire TV devices, will be available in Amazon 4-Star and pop-up stores on Black Friday. The e-commerce giant is offering free shipping to all customers this holiday season, without a minimum order requirement. A solid 70 percent of Americans plan to shop on Black Friday this year, according to a recent NerdWallet study conducted by The Harris Poll.
