3 reasons they should trade for Markelle Fultz

Philadelphia 76ers second-year combo guard Markelle Fultz is meeting with shoulder specialists multiple times this week in NY, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The former No. 1 overall pick has been playing with an apparent injury in his right wrist area that has adversely affected his ability to shoot.

Markelle Fultz will have his right shoulder examined through Wednesday in NY. Not to mention, before Fultz even ruled himself out from the team, he was losing his minutes to point guard, T.J. McConnell. The rumors keep pouring out as Fultz is now on another hiatus due to his shoulder and wrist problems that randomly popped up over the last week.

The reported decision comes on the heels of the Markelle Fultz situation picking up steam.

The team believes it will have to rely more heavily on McConnell because of the uncertainty surrounding Markelle Fultz, according to ESPN.

In the midst of the Miami Heat looking for its next big star, Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops reported that James Johnson, Wayne Ellington, and Rodney McGruder would less than likely be included in a deal for Markelle Fultz.

And following a shoulder injury which kept him out of action for the last three games, he is reportedly not part of the 76ers' long-term plans anymore.

The guard made his return in 2018, averaging 8.2 points and 3.1 assists per game having featured in 19 occasions since the start of the season.

Fultz began the 2018/19 season as a starter but saw his place taken by J.J. Reddick following the arrival of Jimmy Butler.
