Honduran Murderer in Migrant Caravan Caught Illegally Crossing into U.S.

The number of migrants in the city has varied depending on the source.

A handful of the thousands of Central American migrants camped out at the U.S. Gastelum told Fox News.

The spokesman warned of a possible Hepatitis outbreak due to unsanitary conditions at the Benito Juarez Sports Complex near the San Ysidro U.S. -Mexico Port of Entry, as thousands of migrants have been put up there despite the complex only being able to hold 1,000 people in normal conditions.

More than 4,700 migrants are living in tents and under blankets either directly in the shelter or in the surrounding blocks, reported the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I want to wait for asylum, but now I'm thinking I'll arrange my paperwork to stay in Mexico and get a job". "Right now, everyone inside is really sick". He cited a campaign video showing migrants climbing over walls, with Acosta saying about the caravan: "They're not going to be doing that".

On Tuesday, Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum said the city is spending about $30,000 a day to house the migrants and funding is running out.

"Since no one is listening to us, we've decided as a women's movement.to launch a hunger strike", said Claudia Miranda of Honduras at an improvised press conference in the border city of Tijuana. "We won't raise taxes tomorrow to pay for today's problem".

Trump administration officials vowed Friday to address some of issues that forced them to decide against criminally prosecuting any of the 42 members of a Central American migrant caravan arrested last weekend who crossed the U.S. -Mexico border illegally during a chaotic clash with Border Patrol agents.

An advocate for USA border enforcement says we can be thankful President Donald Trump's border enforcement policies are keeping thousands of migrants stuck in Mexico.

Trump, conversely, has dubbed the migrants an invading force that must be stopped, even threatening to shut the USA border if Mexico does not deport those gathered in Tijuana. The fact that Border Patrol arrested a murderer within the first caravan-related apprehensions at our southern border proves how real the threat of the caravan is to our national security and public safety.

Many others were not referred to the Justice Department because they were children or parents accompanying children, the official said.

"Why are (the police) treating us like this if we're not causing them or the Mexican people any trouble?" he said.

"That's not fair. How do you think people from Tijuana feel toward those people who are making problems?"
