R. Kelly under Investigation following Lifetime's Documentary

While Foxx said that her office has not been in contact with Fulton County, they are willing to share any "relevant information" between their offices.

CNN.com reports, "The incident, which allegedly took place in May 2018, was reported by Timothy Savage to Henry County police".

Executive produced by Dream Hampton, the docu-series "Surviving R. Kelly" detailed accounts from people in Kelly's circle, including the singer's brother, Bruce, who said Kelly had a "preference" for young women and singer Sparkle (the aunt of the 14-year-old in the sex tape) who testified against him in court.

Pressure is on authorities in Florida as well, after Angelo Clary, who has alleged that his daughter Azriel Clary is being held captive by Kelly, publicly pushed for them to follow Fulton County's lead.

Speaking of Joycelyn Savage, reportedly R. Kelly's current manager, Don Russell, has been harassing her family as well.

A video resurfaced last week of Kelly claiming that the #MuteRKelly movement is "too late" and that they should have "done this shit 30 years ago".

Chris Hopper, a spokesman, for the Fulton County district attorney's office, declined to comment.

Savage said he and his wife were involved with Lifetime's "Surviving R. Kelly" series.

The report says the case is being forwarded to the criminal investigations division for review.

"I'm here today to encourage victims of sexual assault or domestic violence related to these allegations to please get in touch with our office", Foxx said at a press conference Tuesday. It went on to say that Russell accused Savage of lying to Lifetime and said that if Savage continued to support the series, Russell and Kelly would be forced to release information that would show Savage was a liar and that would ruin him, his reputation, his business and his family.

"Who makes their assessment of the evidence based on reality TV?" he said. Timothy and Jonjelyn claim the singer is holding their daughter, Joycelyn Savage, against her will.

When the warrant was issued in July, the judge cited "terroristic threats and acts".

The singer has long since dodged conviction, getting acquited of charges of child pornography back in 2008.

"I believe the documentary has opened up a new era".
