Ariana Grande Will Not Be Attending Grammys After Disagreements With Producers

Grammy producers initially rejected Grande's choice to perform her new single "7 Rings", then later agreed on the condition they chose her second song, according to the source.

The album comes after the "Thank U, Next" singer cancelled her performance at Sunday's Grammy awards in California in America.

Grande tweeted Thursday: "I've kept my mouth shut but now you're lying about me".

Ariana Grande's latest album dropped early this morning, sending fans into what can legitimately be described as a meltdown if Twitter is anything to go by. "Thought I'd end up with Sean//But he wasn't a match//Wrote some songs about Ricky//Now I listen and laugh//Even nearly got married//And for Pete, I'm so thankful//Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm//'Cause he was an angel", she croons. It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend. She previously mentioned him in the "Thank U, Next" video, singing "Thought I'd end up with Sean, but it wasn't a match", and left a secret note in her "burn book" saying Sean "can still get it". I'm not a big fan of Ariana's music but I can recognize the artistry of what she does.

Ariana Grande is setting the record straight about her disagreement with the Recording Academy.

Perhaps most tellingly, Grande also tweeted that she "passed a Grammys bus with my face on it typing those", referring to how this year's ceremony had been hyped and advertised with her likeness. Now she's breaking a new standard in the music industry with her latest album "Thank U, Next". "It's like I'm the universe and you be N-A-S-A", Grande sings.

"Any f**king way", Grande concluded her Twitter rant. If you believe the rumors, the pop star apparently felt "insulted" after the Grammys production team did not allow her to perform her new hit, "7 rings". On this dreamy ballad, Grande alludes to the pain of Miller's death possibly contributing to her breakup with Davidson: "I know that it breaks your heart/When I cry again over him/I know that it breaks your heart/When I cry again instead of ghostin' him". It's about art and honesty. You can ask Christina Aguilera, who I asked to do "It's a Man's World" for James Brown. "Love u. Sry. iight bye".
