Indian-Origin Dentist Preethi Reddy Murdered In Australia

After a public appeal for information, officers found her body just before 9.30pm yesterday in a suitcase inside a parked auto on Strachan Lane in Kingsford. According to the New South Wales Police department, Reddy was stabbed a multiple number of times before being allegedly murdered.

32-year-old Reddy had been attending a dental convention in St Leonards over the weekend where he spent Sunday night in a hotel on Market street with her ex-boyfriend, Harshwardhan Narde.

It's believed Dr Reddy worked at Glenbrook Dental Surgery, in the lower Blue Mountains.

The original reporting in this article stated that the man who died in the Tamworth crash was Preethi Reddy's boyfriend.

Police confirmed that Narde was the sole suspect in Preethi's murder and they were not looking at any other person.

She told them she would head home after a late breakfast, and when she failed to return, her family contacted police.

Police had been searching for the western Sydney woman since her family reported her missing on Sunday.

She left a dental conference about 7pm and was seen in her vehicle an hour later at the Hotel Urban in St Leonards, her sister said.

Inquiries revealed Dr Reddy stayed at a hotel in the CBD with her ex-boyfriend on Sunday.

"The ABC understands Dr Narde was the key suspect in Dr Reddy's murder", the report said.

CCTV footage showed Preethi at a McDonald's inside the Strand Arcade in Sydney's CBD about 2:15 am Sunday.

In a statement released on behalf of Dr Reddy's family, her sister Nithya said: "Words can not capture the pain we are feeling with the passing of my attractive big sister".

In a statement, Sydney City Police Area Command said they were continuing to investigate the circumstances of her death, and anyone with information relating to the incident should come forward.

"On behalf of my family, I want to thank anyone who shared our appeals to find her, and those who provided information to the police and us over the last few days".

"I ask you all to think about her family right now and about giving them the space to actually to be in this space".

The man suspected of murdering the Sydney dentist Preethi Reddy, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in her auto parked in an eastern Sydney street, New South Wales, is another Indian-origin dentist and her ex-boyfriend Harsh Narde, police said.
