Predicting What Will Happen in 'Avengers: Endgame' Based on 'Captain Marvel'

While Fandango doesn't release exact numbers on pre-sale tickets, the movie ticket website revealed that Captain Marvel is the best selling movie that has yet to hit theaters since "Avengers: Infinity War".

Did Fury ever use the pager before the events we see in the end credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War?

And more clues about how, exactly, she factors into the story: It looks like Fury's desperate page to her in the final seconds of Infinity War reached her in outer space, and she's back to help the still-living Avengers save the day.

On her plane it says Carol "The Avenger" Danvers, prompting him to go for "The Avengers Initiative". thus marking the beginning of The Avengers. Captain America says, "This is a nightmare", and Black Widow replies, "I've had better nightmares".

Of course, it's impossible to do a one-to-one comparison with all of these, but Captain Marvel does seem poised to make north of $130 million based on this number alone, with the film officially tracking at $125 million to $145 million. Captain America is shown looking at a computer screen which shows the number of casualties from The Snap.

"This is a nightmare", Steve says quietly, as the numbers click up. We weren't, however, prepared for what we actually got. Rocket asks them something like, "Who has never been in space before?" Consider the opening scene, wherein she wakes from a mysterious and disturbing dream - though you'd never know it was disturbing to look at her. By the end of her intense 9-month training schedule, the actress was able to deadlift well over 225 pounds, which is impressive for someone who considered herself pretty weak by most people's standards. "Damn her POWER #CaptainMarvel".

As of press time, the number of user ratings on Captain Marvel has decreased, suggesting that Rotten Tomatoes is making an effort to weed out the bad actors.

Many fans have wondered how Captain Marvel will explain Samuel L. Jackson's iconic Marvel character ending up with an eye patch, which he's worn in all other installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The feelings roused by this age-old perseverance story are universal; the position of Carol as a woman surrounded by male fighters, however, intensifies her underdog status and raises the stakes of an otherwise conventional hero's journey.

Those are the biggest WTF questions we had while watching Captain Marvel.

The film reveals that Carol's adorable orange tabby, Goose, is actually a highly risky alien called a flerken, with enormous, Cthulu-like tentacles hidden inside its stomach. In the film's third act, Nick Fury, Monica Rambeau (Lashana Lynch) and Goose the cat are aiding Captain Marvel's battle against the oncoming Kree threat.

I love Goose. I'm a sucker for cats.

The "Captain Marvel" after credits scene adds further credence to that possibility.
